I'm excited to announce that the West Virginia AFL-CIO has endorsed me for House of Delegates! I grew up in a union household, and I'll fight for unions in Charleston. Vote for union candidates in the May 10 primary, then Remember in November!
Great crowd at Empty Bowls last weekend, raising money to feed the hungry in Mon County. I had the opportunity to volunteer, along with hundreds of others. It's wonderful to see events like this that bring the entire community together. If you missed the event and would like to help, fundraising information is here: http://ebmon.org/get-involved/fundraising/
"When I was in the House of Delegates, I saw first-hand how Evan could bring data and science to Charleston to help the Legislature make more thoughtful decisions. Evan will be a strong voice for the people of Mon County."
-Mike Manypenny, former Delegate, candidate for U.S. Congress
"When Evan asked me if I would support him in his run for the House, I quickly said it would be an honor. As a retired state Senator, I know what it takes to be an effective representative, and Evan has all of those qualities in abundance: honesty, intelligence, compassion, work ethic, and a commitment to us West Virginians. Everyone who has met Evan knows what a wonderful person he is."
-Senator Jon Blair Hunter
Thanks so much to everyone who came out to the Meet & Greet to support my campaign! A special thank you to the union members who attended, and to Jon Blair Hunter, Charlene Marshall, and Mike Manypenny for the kind words. Remember in November, but first vote in the primary on May 10!
Please come to our Meet & Greet on February 18, 5-7 pm, at Jameson's on High Street in Morgantown. Stop by after work to meet Evan and help him kick off his campaign for House of Delegates in Mon County’s 51st District! Evan will be there with friends, volunteers, and special guests. Everyone is welcome!
Thank you, Susan and Don Sauter, for hosting the campaign's first house party, which was a great success! And thank you to everyone who came in the cold winter weather. Susan and Don are pictured here with me and Dave Saville. Please let us know if you'd like to host a house party by signing up on the Volunteer page.
